Another cover. Dire Straits this time. I think this a really beautiful song. DIdin't wan't to copy the lead exactly so I did kind of my own version of it.

First time I have tried to record my singing... hope it isn't all too bad.

Any comments and critics are more than welcome! And thanks for listening,

Just updated it. Was something wrong in there but should be okay now!

Cool! I love that tune..you did it well!

Awesome guitar tone!! Perhaps a tad more gain..did you play that with a pick or with fingers like Mark does?

Cause if you play with fingers instead of a pick the sound has more "growl"..which pwnz :D

Thanks alot SS!

I was a little nervous posting something with vocals though ;)

At first I tried recording it playing without pick, I really wanted to do it that way since it's Dire Straits. But I didn't get the right feel to it and it didin't cut through enough, guess I don't have enough skill playing with fingers. Should throw the picks away for some time and practice more without it :)

One of my favourite DS tunes, vocals were just fine - especially for the first time. They're mixed well to, they sit on the track in a very similar way to the original.

Good stuff!

Thanks! Good stuff if they very okay, escpecially since I have such a crappy mic. A pop filter would have helped alot, I have to go get one of those!

I'll probably be able to improve the whole vocal recordings in the future as I learn more :)

Vocals seem a little distant, the whole track sounds great though! And the vocals are good for your first time recording them.
