i hear ya. i actually have his jbl'a in my room right now and they sound great. im gonna give the rokits a try when i get to guitar center.

well i went to guitar center on Wednesday with the intention of buying a pair of krk rokit 5's. i got there and the audio tech was strongly against them. he set up a pair and let me hear them and id dint particularly care for them. the mid scoop was to much. i noticed they had the jbl lsr308's on sale for $199.99. so i snatched them up. he was able to get them down to $175 a piece for me. and god damn these monitors sound amazing. such a huge improvement over the Sony stereo speakers i was using before. i thank you all for your input.
