I've heard that the Bugera 412-BK sounds pretty British, like a cheap Marshall cab. Is this true?

I've got one & it certainly can. Sounds great paired with Marshall head's (or the Bugera equivalents).. I'd definitely pick it over a cheap Marshall cab as well.
If your're buying a new one make sure you wait till the speakers are broken in before forming an opinion (can sound a bit thin/fizzy to start with). It really opens up and transforms after a week or so of use & a few good crankings!
