Built a wood face for my custom JSX enclosure

I built this enclosure a few years ago, but I made it a little bit too wide. So I finally built a wooden face to add a little bit of flair and to cover the holes.

I just grabbed a piece of scrap White Oak from my cabinetmaker's scrap pile.

I'm going to do an antique brown stain with a satin clear coat.

Why no pics of the completed product? Imagination works, but since it is a project thread and all,,,,,,,

I just put it back together. No clear. Just raw stain.

I used espresso for the base stain and sanded it down to make the grains pop. Then i used chestnut for the secondary color.

I'd say most grandpas would have swapped the face for the XXX mud-flap girls. lol

I don't like how it turned out. See my new thread for the redo.
