Bulb tones

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to see if anyone could help me out with picking out a new set of humbuckers for my ESP H-202.

I'm going to use my Guitar Center card for buying them, so I can't go for the Bareknuckles.

Anyone have any suggestions as far as Seymour Duncans or Dimarzios, etc.?

I think that the tones Misha Mansoor gets out of his guitars are phenomenal and I would like to come as close as I can to similar tones because they are the best tones I have ever heard.

If what you really want is Bareknuckle pickups, forget Guitar Center and find a BKP stockist.

Yeah, he seems to be all over Bareknuckles. Quoted from another forum:

the warpig and painkiller are pretty different but awesome in their own ways, its kinda hard to pick a fave.
warpig is definitely thicker and chunkier and has a ton of low mid harmonics which is cool, and the painkiller is djentier and focuses more on the high mids
the painkiller is slightly tighter as a result of rolled back low mids, but both pickups are supremely tight.

But yeah, Jolly's suggestion pf PMing him is good - he might steer you towards SD pickups that share some of the characteristics.
