bunch o drop-d riffs I came up with today

I had a break from work today and used the opportunity to jam out a bit. ltd(emg85b) -->pod -->saffire pro -->logic.

Was lots of fun, though it could probably stand a bit more organization. Lemme know watcha think :)

it's called "drop-d mishmash"

Are the guitars too loud/compressed? They sound kosher on all my monitors and headphones, but they pump when I play em through laptop speakers or my t.v. It'd be good to know how the gat tone sounds on various people's speakers.

I haven't been on the forum in a while, so it's cool if no one wants to comment. Just been busy with school- I'm in a PhD program and it eats my time. Do WFD and Jolly still post here?

Sounds ok on my speakers. Some nice chuggin and mood bits on there.
You are getting a lot of hiss at the beginning on fade-up before the levels get to max, so the hiss is not from the recorded signal. ??

sounds cool, I like the 2 diff guitars at once playing off one another.

Cheers guys! :)

innerdream- It's an ltd viper with emg85 bridge and a podxt on the big bottom model with very little gain and the eq set to mimick a ts. I used a multi-band compressor to boost the lows/low mids cuz the gats didn't have enough balls (hence my worry about pumping).

Redmist- the guitars have a typical pod fizz that I couldn't dial out completely but I think you might be hearing the splash cymbal fade-in.
