I have only played one, and it was nice. Not quite as good as the Orville by Gibsons and Tokais I have played, but still darn good. I think there are a bunch of different models/price points with those guitars but it's really, really hard to figure out which is which. At least the Orville/Orville by Gibson thing is sort of easy to differentiate, even though there are no hard and fast rules there.
You might be able to figure out some stuff by looking at www.guitargai.com (look at the Burnys he has). Some of the Ebay guys who sell a lot of those "lawsuit" axes might have info, too.
The Burny I played was a lower-level '56 goldtop reissue and while it didn't have a fancy finish or anything, it was extremely well made and sounded fine. The higher-end models are going to put you well into Gibson territory in terms of finish and quality. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
