Burst Bucker Pro/mesa .50 caliber + combo deme:

Young Angus

Kometose Tonologist
These are the same clips i posted about in another thread titled "wes jam", but it didnt look like many people took much notice of them so im gonna re-post under a different thread name.

I recorded some tracks of me jamming some spontaneous un-thought out typical "me" improv to a couple of wes montgomery tracks:

D-natural blues and Baby its cold outside,

both of which are great and different songs (one if bluesy the other is more of a major sound).

Recorded with my mesa 50cal+ combo and my les paul standard on its neck BBpro the whole way through (except a small part in D natural blues when i switched quickly to the middle position, but then remember that i lowered the volume knob slightly on the neck and left the bridge on full so it sounded more like the crappy bridge clean sound anyway so quickly switched it back).

I tried to use some jazz chops ive been picking up lately and mixing them in with my blues playing, but no pre-thought went into the playing so sorry about any repetition, but i thought id share it to demonstrate the tones of this mesa 50cal and the jazzy cleans that the neck BBpro is capable of.

Anyway, hope you like it, and please if you listen to it leave a comment.

They are both the top two tracks at my soundclick site:

nice playing and nice tone.....i own a dc which is similar to yours i didn't expect it to give that kind of clean tone although i am not a jazz player and i do not use les pauls that much......

Very cool, the D-natural blues is awesome, great tone and great playing man.

God, these BBPro sure sound good, I wonder if this is not what I'm looking for. I hope not, they cost an arm and a leg.

Very cool clips. Like your heavier LP clip too.

Thanks guys, much appreciated :D

The neck BBpro is actually really good and gives all those clean tones you heard, but the bridge (although sounding thick through the ENGL) could do with more balls...it sounds pretty shrill clean.

I can post a clip which compares the two really well if anyones interested.
