Busted my endpin on Martin acstic, so got Shadow Prestige Humbucker

Duncans for soundhole were not that highly rated. I have no access to guitar repair (here in booming Iraq), so amidst my grieving, I ordered the Shadow for the soundhole to circumvent the pin. (Someday in the future I can take the Martin to a specialist to check the pin, I reckon.)

Any experience with the Shadow for acoustic? (If it stinks, I can send it back or maybe cancel the order before it's shipped.)

Thanks!

No idea re the pup, but I imagine the rock n roll scene there is defined by the M 60 MG, or its sucessor.. Stay safe, and good luck!

Thanks, Thucydides. The rock and roll scene till a year ago was dominated by Baghdaddies, and when they broke up, a quirky folky band tried to get some attention. As to who dominates the scene now, a large band called Sonic Surge thinks they do. Competing bands prefer to disagree, of course.

Oh, I know what you mean there, lol!

More on topic, last summer I saw a band here at an outdoor festival, Cherry Monroe, from Pittsburg. Their singer had a Martin out for a couple of songs, and it sounded very natural. Turns out it was a ribbon mic under the bridge setup. This one was installed when the gtr was built. I don't think that they are difficult to install.
