Sounds like just another fancy bypass term to hide the fact the pedal will probably suck tone in bypass mode.
Don't get too caught up in the fancy terms. It's either true bypass, buffered bypass (like Boss and Ibanez pedals for example) or neither. Terms like hard-wire bypass and quite possibly split bypass simply hide the fact that the bypass is neither of the other two.
