Cabinet Help!-

So I use a BOSS GT-8 for my tone which I run through a Marshall Valvestate Combo Amp, and I've decided I want to run it straight through a cabinet, but I was wondering since I have no experience with cabs, how would I power it? Does it come with a cord, do I have to buy a power supply or what? Sounds silly but I'm curious!

boss pedal = preamp. You will need a separate power amp if you want to get rid of the marshall.

boss ->poweramp ->cabinet.

Yeah, I knew it was a preamp, I was just wondering if I would need a poweramp to power the cabinet Thanks.

Does it have an effects loop?

If so, just run the boss into the effects loop return. Then your valvestate becomes a powered cabinet.

I do it with my 6505 and my pod.
