Re: Cakewalk Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just obtained sonar 4 pe...it's over the top. the thing lets you put stuff in 7.1 surround! that's just a taste. it's actually a lot more than i need. it depends on what you want to do with recording. if you want to start a studio, you need all the frills, but if you just want to record some ideas and edit them, basic stuff should be plenty. i suggest you go to the cakewalk website and see which software suite has the features that best suit your needs and get it. keep in mind that if you buy one of those m-audio interfaces, you get protools le. also, if your computer doesn't have a serious sound card, you're gonna need an interface like the m-audio or the gnx4, both of which come with software.
