umm, you're gonna need to be a bit more specific here ... which model prs? which model LP? ... exact same pickup in both bridge positions? if so, which?
i have no idea what you are looking for here that isnt available by listening to any two out of a gazillion CDs out in the world

how about a standard les paul with a jb (or something comparable) a/b'd with a custom 22/24 prs with similar pups
thing is, i love the tone of the les paul but i play a strat and am used to that style of bridge. the lp bridge just does'nt feel right to me

Heh... I know the feeling.
BTW, if you're checking out PRS stuff, don't overlook the CEs (bolt on models). They kick just as much ass as their set-neck brethren (Customs & Standards).

I don't have any clips for you, but when I bought my McCarty, I A/B'ed sev diff Paulas (including two of my own as well as an R9) against several different McCarty's with similar output pups, which is the closest to apples/apples you are gonna get until the singlecuts start arriving again, I'd suspect.
They sound nothing alike. PRS has it's own inherent voice. Gibson has it's own inherent voice (and moreso for a paula). My Firebird sounds more like a Paula than a PRS does. Put a trem bridge on your Reed, and the gap widens further.
In general, I find the Reed is thinner ("er"...not necc "thin"), more nasally in the midrange, has better note separation in chords like strat, brighter, etc. It's very "hi-fi". All these things *to me* make for a more sterile or "brittle" sounding guitar. Kinda like the difference between say a Seth Lover neck pup, and a full shred neck pup.
Others may (and do!) prefer the PRS tone....That said, Reeds are *very* well built, and *very* "playable" instruments. You cannot go wrong with either choice if the tone suits you!

Maybe one of the Hamer specials/monacos with the sustain block? Not a trem, but the bridge should feel similar to Strat.
At least the scale length/neck angle, etc is more Gibson, than a Reed.
You'd prolly have to go through the Custom shop though, I don't think that bridge is a standard option.
Trem bridges really change the tone of a guitar vs. a TOM or wraptail.
I know how you feel..in reverse...I'd love to have a good Floyd guitar or Strat, but just cannot ever get used to the feel of the bridge.
