Can anyone ID this old "Seymourized" telecaster pickup?

Hiya,
Just bought this pickup thinking it was a STL-3T (Duncan Quarter Pound for Tele), but it has an oval sticker on the back saying "Seymourized". I'm confused because I had read these stickers were put on 1970s/1980's pickups that were rewound by SD, and I don't think this model was made by Duncan at that time. I couldn't find a timeline or pickup model release dates, so it may very well could have been but all the ones I see online look much newer. This seems to have the same wiring coloring as the STL-3T, but lacks the logo too. Is this a rewind of some older pickup? Would be grateful of any help or info on this...

As far as what I understand is the pickups with these stickers are the ones that are rewound by Seymour. And not a production model. It could be a prototype that went on to become the quaterpound for tele.

STL-3T Quarter Pound, Tapped for Telecaster.

The blue and silver colour scheme of the sticker matches the packaging of the late Seventies and early Eighties production line pickups.

Looks like the precursor to the Quarter Pound lead??? Them are some big lugs!!! I'm guessing they are either alnico 2 or alnico 5 Jazz Bass lugs? The Quarter Pound pickups uses alnico 5 Jazz Bass lugs & a overwound bobbin to give you a "VERY HOT" Tele, Strat,& I think but don't quote me but Jazzmaster pickups. In the late 70's & all the way up through the early 90's rewinding, overwinding, & HOT pickups were a very big thing. Especially the 70's & 80's, by the 90's guitars just came stock with very hot pup's in response to all rewinding done in the previous two decades. Now everyone wants the vintage wound stuff again, I think what you got is something like the Q. P. but with a multi wire conductor & it was probably a special order for a certain guitar or maybe some sort of prototype? It's a awesome find though, it may be the concept for the Quarter Pound & Seymour himself may have rewound it??? The Quarter Pound is a fairly new pickup but the concept has been around for quite a while, big powerful magnets & lots of turns = hot pickups? Perhaps it was meant for a Tele that had a Humbucker in the neck, kind of "Keefer style" & this design was an effort to keep the pickups more balanced, it sounds like something Duncan would have done back in the day??? It's def. a interesting Pup, I'm sure it has some kind of story???

jazz basses dont use 1/4" magnets

Back in the late Seventies, the only other manufacturer offering quarter inch diameter rod magnet pole pieces was Schecter. I cannot recall who launched them first.

I have an old Jazz pickup with the same label in the neck of a tele.

Yeah, the only other pickup that had the same color wiring that I could find online, was the Schecter F520T/F521T. I was thinking this might be one of those, so I contacted a guy who seems to know a lot about Schecter stuff, but he said it is not.

I'm more aware of the earlier Duncan humbucker stuff, and didn't figure they made (nor have I ever really heard about) pickups for the Telecaster...

I wonder if these were modeled after the Schecter ones, because I'm pretty sure were making their own parts during Duncan's early days when he was just doing custom rewinds...Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the guess...

Looking to hear more about these, especially if anyone has some good experience with them.
