can some one give me some cool scales to learn?

well like the title says can some on post some scales so i can learn them? also any tips on stuff i should learn that would help me get better at writing my own stuff would be cool too! thanks!

I have a series of articles on this forum called "Warp Up Tips". Do a search for that and you will find some cool licks/scales/finger exercises that will get you started.

look up diminished scales . . . they're sort of fun for play outside of key centers, and they make simple symmetrical patterns that are easy to learn.
