Can someone post clips of Dimarzio pick-ups???

Hey guys, can ya'll post clips of Dimarzio pickups in action, as I think I might/might not :smack: buy these :) :burnout: :newangel: :rolleyes: ??? One thing I do know is that A LOT of shredders use them as their pickup of choice, even though I know some shredders use Duncan's also.

One thing I don't like about their pick-ups is that they don't look stock on the guitars they're in (IMO), although Duncan's do!!! :duh: :fing25: :cool3: :burnout: :)

Oh yeah, why do A LOT of shredders prefer Dimarzio's anyway, is it because they sound more modern than other manufacturers???

about the ancient DiMarzio VS Duncan question. there are alot of mixed views on the subjects and often times people just agree to disagree.
bare in mind that most of the people in this forum are duncan users (this is the duncan usergroup afterall).
my own opinion is that the two companies are oriented in different ways.
Duncan are more "conservative", if you will, with a more of a vintage attitude to things (imo). dimarzio on the other side cater for a different range of guitar players that want a more specific voicing and certain attributes from their pickups. that i think is why dimarzio has a much larger line.

that being said, both kickass and its just a matter of what youre looking for in your guitar tone, ultimately.
im pretty certain my next guitar will have duncans.

If you go to my web site, www.twilight-odyssey.com, and you listen to the song The Endless Days of a Stranger, all of the rhythm and lead tracks on that song are my JEM, using DiMarzio Breed pups. The harmonies are my Strat ... :D

Hey moom,

My last two clips are with DiMarzio's, I got back to them for my Ibanez. I'll put Duncan in the semi-hollow I'll buy ealry next year.

Just click the Myclip link in my sig... the jazzy jam is the FRED in the neck position.

The Back in Business clip is the Super Distortion, both the rhythm backtrack and the lead.

I know that the latest clip here by Vhoholic is a Dimarzio. He said it's either the PAF or the PAF Pro.

hey i just recorded a pretty sloppy bit of hey joe using my dimarzio humbucker from hell ill post it tomorrow for ya. the hfh is supposed to be a single coil- sounding humbucker, which it does a pretty damn good job of doing. so ill get it here as soon as i can for ya.
