In that case, here are some pictures of my refinished Jaguar. For the record, rewiring a Jaguar is a Royal PITA



Take one Classic Player Special Jaguar with a perfectly good sunburst finish.

Wow- Awesome. I still think Jaguars can have the best clean tone in the world, and the ergonomics are perfect to me. Also love the vibrato.

Sparkle suits it, and love the matching headstock. I re-wired my Jaguar- over ten feet of cloth wire required :D

How much thickness did you lose?

My experience with heat-scrape-n-sand was that it leaves quite mess to sand smooth

None, the poly and sealer scrape right off. I barely had to sand with 220 before spraying sealer.

I know you have said before but where do you get your paint and clear coat?
I can’t remember.
I’ve been contemplating doing a build myself and am going back and forth about buying a prepainted Warmoth body and and unfinished one somewhere else.
