Well today while I was playing guitar I dropped my pick and bent over to pick it up and my guitar slipped and now I have a little chip/nick in the back side of the guitar and I was woundering if this is somthing that can be fixed?

this is the guitar I have with the same paint job: http://www.espguitars.com/images/guitars/ec-100QM_STBC.jpg

if pictures of my actual guitar would help let me know and I can take some.

You might want to get Dan Erlewine's book of Complete Guitar Repair.

What I might do is get some Satellite City bottled Super Glue...the thick gap filling stuff.

Dip a toothpick in the glue, drop a drop of the glue into the chip/nick and let it dry. DO NOT try to drip a drop out of the bottle itself...you'll make a mess. Use the toothpick method.

Repeat until the glue is slightly higher than the surface of the finish.

I then use a single edge razor blade to scrape the glue flat and even with the level of the original paint.

Maybe use a small piece of 400 or 600 or finer grit finishing paper to level it a little better.

Then I use Differant grades of McGuire's finish polishing and rubbing compounds to buff the spot back to a glossy shine again.
