capacitance and wiring for Lil 59 + JB Jr with one vol, one tone and 3-way

I am wiring a JB Jr in the neck position and a Lil 59 in the bridge position with one tone , one volume and a 3-way switch. Any idea what capacitor I should be using for the tone control?

I'd go with a .02 Sprague Orange drop cap and 250K CTS pots...about $11 worth of parts.

Thanks Lew. I have .022 is that close enough?

Close enough for rock n roll! :) Let me know if I help out with the pots or anything else. Lew

I prefer 500k pots with the lil and jr series pickups but it really depends on the amp and guitar.

500K wouldn't hurt. I used to use the neck model JB JR. as a bridge pickup because I thought the bridge model wasn't quite bright enough. That was in a Strat with stock neck and middle pickups and 250K pots. Robert's suggestion of going with 500K is a good one for the application you're talking about. Go with 500K if you tend to like a brighter clearer tone and 250K if you tend to go for a warmer mellower tone than a usual Strat tone. Lew
