Capacitor Switch Wiring?

Hey bros,

I've really been enjoying my recent capacitor exploration journey, switching tone caps out to see how it affects tone. Different values, different possibilities, easy to do. So I have this cool idea.

I want to switch between two different caps on my
tone pot using a 2-way switch, but lack even the most
basic understanding of switch wiring. Can you educate me?

Thank you ever so kindly. If you have time, could you also show me three caps on a three-way switch? Again, thanks.

Seams like overkill to me. Besides, it's more work to wire the switch than just put in the cap that you like. Once you have the "right" cap you really don't want to change it.

Hmmm, interesting point. Maybe I'll just audition a bunch of different caps using alligator clips and use the one that sounds best. I'm installing two true velvets and a p-rail, so that somehow got me thinking that having two or three caps might be a good idea.
