Purchased this pedal from CapoFirstFret last year and have not used more than a few hours because I purchased a Voodoo Amps V-Plex for my plexi tones. I am using the listing information and pictures that CapoFirstFret provided because the condition is identical to what I received (prior thread is https://forum.seymourduncan.com/sho...ype&highlight=carl+martin+plexitone+prototype).
The guy who designed the Carl Martin Plexitone (Niels) is a forum member on this forum and a few years ago gave away his two prototypes he used to design the Plexitone in a forum giveaway.
It is different from stock in that it has a socketed chip so it can be swapped out easy to try other op-amps. It also has a mids filter switch and a lows filter switch on the back (as Niels was testing different voicings). It's a fantastic pedal.
It has the identical functionality as the production model with a small exception in that there are two switches in the back that toggle in and out a mids and a lows filter that Niels used to test different circuits. It also has a socketed op amp chip so that you can pop it out and put in a different one. The power cable is attached just like the production model.
Selling for $150 plus $10 shipping.
