The Legacy kicks major ass, I own one. But it's not for Chug chug. If you like fluid, smooth sustaining leads go for it. It's one of those amps you either love or hate. It's really a different animal than most amps on the market. If you have patience go for it.
If you love it, find the money elsewhere, or you'll miss it. I'll bet if you went through all the junk you own, you'd find a few things to sell, rather than your amp.

I`ve been always leaning towards the Mark IV or a JCM800 due to the growing tiredness of the Rectifier single sound. I need to get my guitar from the dealer and have no other way but selling the Solo 50 (split the cash for guitar and a used Legacy) or being dry (guitarless) for another 2 months or so, which won`t make the dealer to happy.
In case you missed a previous thread of mine this is the guitar I`m waiting to bring home.
Sounds like your already tired of the Mesa....so my opinion is to go for the Legacy. I've heard good things about them. If you don't like it, you can always dump it and pick up the JCM 800. Sometimes change is the best thing to kick start your tone and creativity.
