I recently got in touch with Center Street Electronics, (a small pedal manufacturer out of Kansas), and they were kind enough to allow me to do a review for their Supernaut distortion pedal. It's an old school heavy distortion pedal based on the Orange sound.

I'm nothing if not a self promoting whore so take a look at the review and tell me what you think.

Cool review. Is this a straight distortion pedal? It looks more like a 'character' pedal. I wonder how it stacks against my Empress Heavy, which is the best distortion pedal I have come across yet.

Its definitely billed as a distortion, but it definitely changes the character and dynamics of your sound. It also has more gain than even I could feasibly use.

In fact, I'd day that anyone interested in that Orange stompbox would probably dig this because it can actually sound like an old Orange if you want it to.

Its coming along. I was talking to the guys at CSE about the circuit and some cool stuff they're working on. Very exciting stuff.

Anyway, the Drone station is a mammoth of a pedal. A behemoth. A leviathan.

Its a damn monster.
