Ceriatone Stray Cat/Bad Cat Hot Cat opinions?

So a ceriatone stray cat has come up for sale near me for a price I'm interested in. I had my heart set on a valve tech hayseed but maybe this would do the trick. I like marshall meet vox cleans, kinda chime with mid chunnkyness, am I on the right path? I've read so many mix things from best gain channel ever to awful overpriced amps (the bad cats that is). Can it get chimey, can it do dynamic low gain marshall? How high gain is it? Any opinions would be awesome. I'll be using it with my 212 cab with wgs reaper and green beret speakers,so definately marshall vibe speaker wise.

Most importantly how does it take pedals especially big muff, rat and fuzz pedals. As well as delays and reverbs and such.

which hot cat? theres a few models (15, 30, 30r, 50, 100) and theres been a few revisions of them so not sure which the ceritone is modeled after. ive played a 30r at a few gigs and it was great, beautiful clean tone with some muscle to it and a fluid high gain, almost slo like in some ways. i didnt use the loop and it wasnt my amp so i only have a few hours experience playing it on stage but i sure smiled when i saw one the second time. as far as pedals, i only used timmy set to a medium drive sound on the clean channel of the amp and it worked great

Based off the original non reverb 30. So dual rectifier el34s no loop no reverb only volume and brilliance for clean, no mids switch or control. Beautiful clean with muscle is up my alley. I generally like voxs but they can mush up with lots of distortion pedals so want the nice clean but with marshall bottom solidity. Looks like the gain control has a fair bit of range not dissimilar to the matchless hot box preamp (what my current amp is based on)

So I bought it. Haven't got it home yet but I played it through a cheap hot rod cab and it sounded awesome with a Tele. The gain channel is super loud but has plenty of clean range with single coils and the edge control kind of goes between warmer voxy cleans to the bityness of a plexi. Talk about dynamics! I can see why people might not like the high gain it is kind of fizzy with the gain cranked especially without the master also cranked but I'm more into the clean and crunch tones and fuzz pedals. Will do a full review soonish.
