Champ(ish) build

I rat****ed a late 40's radio for parts to build a simple guitar amp, reminiscent of a Champ. I already built a cab for the speaker, so I'll do a matching head enclosure.

I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to amps. So it might take a little while.

Seriously... if you think about a tube amp as an arc welder you plug a guitar into then you're in the right mindset for the safety side of things.
That being said, a champ or something vaguely similar (such as a MOD 201 or AX84) is a great place to start for dabbling/building tube amplifiers. Tons of great resources out there, tried and tested schematics etc, etc.

I know that much lol. I've modded amps a few times. I've just never started from scratch.
