I just got a good condition Fender Champion 300 dsp ( 30 watt, 10" speaker, 8 ohm) off ebay to practice with my electric acoustic (fishman matrix infinity). For solid state the amp sounds pretty good and is fine for messing around. But I'm thinking a little better speaker would help this amp out since it is the entry level model in the dynatouch line. I had a princeton 65 of similar vintage that I think had a 12" eminence speaker. It also had a nice clean tone as well. Has anyone upgraded a speaker in the champion 300 and what were the results? I only paid $75 for the amp so another speaker for less than 50 or so is about what it's worth to me for this amp.
