Changing from stock pots - will it make a difference?

Hello, I have a squire deluxe strat with a JBSH-4 in the bridge and i was wondering if i swap out the stock pots and wiring, would it improve the sound?

Would it be noticeable or just very subtle?

If its all in good working order than swapping it out wont make a huge difference. You can hear it but it isnt a eye popping difference.

If you have Cor-Tek electronic components, changing to American pots will improve the resistance taper and the feel of the turning action.

The main issue with the HSS pickup layout is the perennial 250 versus 500k question. I often compromise with a 300k volume pot.
