I Wanna Get A Very Warm Melodic Tone While Clean And A Very "creed" Or "slash" Distorsion Sound With These New Pickups Im Gonna Get . Can Anyone Please Tell Me What Should I Get?????

Also , What Does It Mean If A Guitar Is Vintage Or Reissue???? Where Do I See It On My Guitar??

I Love Creed!! , Nirvana , Slash!!!!!! And Silverchair So U Know What Kinda Distorsion Im Looking For, Especially For Solos!!!
Thanx A Lot
Im Ready To Change The Pickups!!!

Re: Changing Pickups On My Jazzmaster!!!!!!

Vintage (in the guitar world) usually means it was made before 1975 - 1980.
Reissue means something has been discontinued and they are making it again.
Sometimes you can tell by the serial number. Check out fenders site.

Oh, as for the pickups if you want warmth you'll need a set of "lil" humbuckers.
I haven't tried any, but if i were you i would try out a couple lil '59s.

On a Jazzmaster?

This may be kind of harsh for me to say ... but the sounds you're looking for IMO will be coming from Humbuckers ...

So my suggestion would be to get a different guitar, because you'd need to replace the pickguard and probably change the electronics on it.
