Changing pots and caps?

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of putting the SD "Everything Axe" set of pickups in my Strat, all humbuckers. My question is: will I have to change the pots from 250k to 500k and will I have to change the caps as well? If so what caps are recommended?


The Everything Axe set contains a JB jr, Duckbucker, and Little 59.

You should be fine with 250K pots for SC sized HBs. You can try them, if they sound too dark for your taste you can replace them with 500Ks. It is all upto your taste.

It is the same thing for caps.
