I thought all the vettes were plywood, I guess I was wrong. Cool that it has gotohs and a reverse headstock.

So did i especially on the low end model like this. I did read somewhere that alot of old stock from the old mij factory got sent to the new factory where they where making charvettes etc.

I think you screwed up on the title of this thread. It is not a Charvel.

Guy on ebay wants $90 shipped for just the Charvette neck. I don't think so.

Plywood body, I suspect.

Yours has even got "reverse" pickups and bridge saddles!!! The Charvel logo should appear bottom right of the pickup casing. The bridge saddles look to be set for playing left handed.

Yeah looks like the pickups have been flipped around. never would have picked up on that haha.

And as for the plywood diddy. the truth will be revealed when i take the paint off.

When i get a chance i will take some picture of a carvin dc 127c i scored for $300 last year.

Not bad for 50 bucks.

All Charvettes had plywood bodies except for the "high" end, which sometimes used basswood seconds from MIJ Fusion + Dinky production. Most Charvettes are 24.75" scale, so would be regarded as "fusions" if they carries the Jackson or CHarvel monikers.
