This guitar is a recent production Japanese made Charvel Model A.
The guitar features a mahogany body with flame maple veneer as well as a 24 fret birdseye maple neck with an ebony fret board. The hardware consists of a Japanese made Floyd bridge with locking nut, the frets are Jumbos and have very little wear. The original owner had the 12th - 24th frets scalloped, the job is professionally done. There are a few spots on the edges of the guitar that have some wear/dings but nothing that hurts playability. Pickups are a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and a Dimarzio Area 58 in the neck slot, the guitar had a Dimarzio dual blade mini-humbucker in the middle slot when I bought it but I took it out. It will be included in the sale if the person wants it. these guitars are no longer sold in the USA but are still sold in Japan, the price in Japan in $1649.00. The guitar on the Japanese website is basically the same but they have changed the black hardware to chrome and the neck has a maple board instead of ebony.
