Hi. I want to buy a acoustic guitar, but I don't want to spend alot of money at all since I play electric guitar and the acoustic would just be used to play around with for fun. So what do you guys recomend? I will plain mostly western/country with it. And remember, keep the price tag low :)

Yeah, I agree with Benjy. A used Yamaha will give you the best bang for the buck. Well made guitars that sound good. You shouldn't have to pay any more than 150.00.

I don't know if it's cheap enough, but you should try a Taylor Big Baby. About $350 with gig bag at Guitar Center. I love mine. Made in California, USA, real solid wood top, can't ask for much more.

Don't buy a new guitar. Your $400 will buy you a much, much better used guitar than a new one. Lew

Just to toss in some options look at Art & Lutherie by Godin, starters are under $200 CDN.

Alverez make some excellent sounding acoustics in the lower price ranges.

Also look for a used Seagull, probabley one of the best for price and favoured by many on the acoustic forums.(Also built by the Godin family of guitars.)

Good luck.
