So I'm living in a trail or park now. I do extreme metal vocals. What's a good way to soundproof a closet enough to where the surrounding trailers won't complain about my screaming?

You need absorbers to block the sound from escaping your home into the neighbors'. Ethan Winer explains how it works, and tells you how to build your own absorbers from fiberglas and wood. There are 3 things you can do to sound within a room: diffuse it, reflect it, and absorb it. There is way more involved in this than can possibly be discussed within the confines of this thread.
If you want to stop sound from escaping, you are talking about sound proofing. To do this, you need to create a barrier that will trap the sound within a small 'air lock' to prevent it from migrating out; this is generally done by floating a room within a room and using "weather seals", double doors, etc.
The Ethan Winer link has lots of good info in it, but is is not really applicable here, as acoustic treatment and room tuning is used to fix sonic issues within your recording/playback space. Absorbers are not designed to prevent sound leakage (though sometimes this is a pleasant side effect). Sound needs air to travel. Most sound leaks from doors and windows, not through walls and floors.

Cheap sound diffusing to use in a closet are heavy blankets!!! Multiple folds(more than 6), hung from the ceiling to the floor of the closet. Leave as many clothes in the closet as possible too. Anything to absorb the energy of the sound. Sound is energy. Try screaming into 6-8 layers of a blanket. Not enough sound escapes to disturb the neighbors. So hang 6-8 layers within the closet. More on walls adjacent to the outside. Buy the blankets at goodwill or go to garage sales to find them cheap.

wont sound as good and not technically correct, but I used to sing in the car. you can park your car somewhere else and sing and neighbors can't complain
I dig my Auralex gramma pads and stuff for speakers, but they are not stopping vibrations completely or anything.
guitarist in my last band converted his living room into a studio and had carpets hanging adjacent to walls, looked lame but you could not hear our band
