hey fourbanger how do the strats play and sound? I was thinking of getting a fender but im on a low budget. What are some good mods? I was literally about to buy a telecaster this past friday, but then i didnt and good thing i didnt. because i came home and got a traynor ycv80 mint with warranty for 400.

the green strat sounds amazing i truely would not give it up for a $2000 gibson, amazing distortion and the hotrails/coolrails have amazing bluesy cleans. The neck just melts in my hand. However the Purple one i bought piece by piece and am slightly disapointed in, sounds fairly well not as good as the green one however. in my opinion the most important mod u can do is have it set up the way it feels comfortable to you, string hight and, action, string size....etc, tone doesnt matter if ya cant play the darn thing. I really like telecasters but im on a really tight budget now..so thats out.

BTW. thanks for the compliments i think i finally found my gear im sticking to. definately the green strat w/subwayrock and my martin. amazing instruments for a lot less than those high priced strats and martins
