Warmoth Black Korina body finished in Nitro lacquer with a Carvin neck finished in Tung Oil. (get it Warvin!!) Seymour Duncan P-Rail pup,Gotoh tuners and bridge,vol/tone, and a 3 way toggle switch. This is by far the best guitar i`ve ever had...simply awesome!!
Sorry for the small pic,its the best i can do right now.

that is pretty sexy! its def missing a neck pup though...

I can live without a neck pup. With the 3 way toggle i can get the single coil rail, P90 and humbucker mode. Plus it has a tone knob as well.

Yeah definitely... and with the 3 way toggle i can get single coil,P90,or Humbucker tones!

It cost me $500...got it off ebay so i didn`t even have to do any of the work, just reaped the benefits!!! :18: The body alone costs over $300 from Warmoth and thats without the finish!

I dig it man... I am always a fan of simplicity on my guitars, simple=sexy imo. How do you like the black Korina body?

I totally agree about the simplicity factor!
I`m lovin the Black Korina body..not only for the stunning looks but also for the tone. (Kinda like Mahogany with more mids!) Warmoth does amazing work and this one also has the contoured heel which is cool.

Re: Check out my new Warvin guitar!!

Thanks. I`m thinking about making a Warvin logo for the headstock!!!

It was either Warvin or Carmoth so....*lol*

I'm a Carvin player, so.....

.....this little project you have going is quite unique. And Warmoth is quite a good merchant to deal with themselves so you got two great companies behind your back.

Once again, congrats on the axe! :yourock:

Yeah I`m a Carvin player as well. They have been my favorite guitar company since i was introduced to them about nine years ago. I`ve been wanting to check out Warmoth for awhile now so when i found this one on ebay,i had to have it. For me its like the best of both worlds, pretty much like a Carvin with way better body contours.

Even that's too many options. The ones I'm refinishing have a bridge humbucker, volume and tone knobs, and the 3 way toggle that's "bridge humbucker on, bridge humbucker on, and bridge humbucker off." ;)

Nice guitar though, that's exactly the layout on the guitars that I'm refinishing, except mine are going to be solid colors. (I'm filling the neck humbucker cavities.) Nothing like a simple stringthrough bridge.

Sounds good to me!
