That thing looks like it's in great shape. I like how he added the G12H to the mix. Enjoy!

Now I know I'm old when THAT is considered vintage. :smack: I guess a few of us can remember the days when the JCM800s were all brand new in the stores and people were saying how the plexis blew them away, LOL.

Great score Young Angus. Good luck with it.

Haha sounds just like what people say now about the new 1960 cabs vs. the older cabs from the 80's and older.

Cheers everyone, i should be picking it up tonight and i'll take it to rehearsal tomorrow night so cant wait to hear what it sounds like compared to a quad of vintage 30's!

ya i remember people saying that in the 80's..... i remember sitting in Steve's Music in Toronto back around 1986 or 87 just going ape over the sliver 25/50 Marshall series..... some saying they sucked.... i wish i could go back in time and buy one...

Wow i've gotta say im so impressed with the way this cabinet sounds! It's such a warm sound and the guy who sold it to me described it as a "3D sound" because you can't quite pinpoint where it's coming from...and i hear exactly what he means. Somehow even when you're playing right in front of the cab it sounds like the sound is coming from all sorts of places, its actually a bit weird, but really really cool!

And the clean tone i get using the komet through it...WOW!!!

I hope no one is home tomorrow so i can krank the pi$$ out of it! :D
