On the RHCP song Throw Away Your Television, there is a fantastic effect on the guitar solo. I think it sounds like a Boss Phase Shifter but im not sure. I know he uses the Moog stomp boxes but like I said im not sure. Does anyone have any idea what he is using?

I'm not sure what he used in the studio, but I've read several times that he uses the Line 6 FM-4 for live performances. (Maybe the Seek Wah setting? I'm not sure)

it's a 'step' effect off a few old ZOOM pedals!

i have an old 707, it has what sounds like the exact patch in the presets!

You know, my old 505 does sound like that. He definately uses the FM4 live though.
