chuggin

I recently got a Vox Valveltronix 120VTH and so far I really like the amps clean and crunch tones. The metal tones are pretty nice too but the low end chug is weak. No punch to it at all. I know its not my speakers or cabs because all my other amps have been fine through them (DSL/5150). Any way I can firm up that portion of the sonic spectrum on the valvetronix? Is there a pedal out there that can help the low end?

Re: chuggin

why didn't I think of that? Are EQs pretty easy to use? I'm not a knob tweaker and loose patients pretty fast. I wish more amps just had a tone, gain and volume knob...

Re: chuggin

lacks the low end. I'll palm mute a riff and there will be no punch to it at all. No focused bass just really flubby (if that's a word). For example - if I'm palm muting on my bigger amps I can feel it in my chest and the windows shake. Not so with this amp. Just really weak low end. I'm wanting to make the low end more pronounced and focused I guess.

Re: chuggin

I have the same problem! im running a ad50 valvetronix, the cleans sound pretty good, but the high gain sounds like **** specially on high volumes!
