I'm still sitting on the fence trying to figure out what to put in my Ibanez 2630.
For now I can live with the Super 80 in the neck, but the bridge has got to go.
I'd like to keep the stock appearance so I'm thinking of removing the gold cover(no pole piece openings) and placing it on a Gibson Classic 57+. Will it fit?
Theory being that the solid cover will offset the stronger output of the Gibson and balance with the ceramic neck. The guitar is super bright to begin with.
Playing the usual suspects, classic rock, blues, country. Looking for "clean dirt"
