classic 59 just WONT fit my strat route...sigh

Legs too long...classic 59 4 conductor humbucker...bridge position (have 2 little 59s in mid and neck, fit great)
was about to order a SSS pivkguard and just put another 59 in it...but ordered a trembucker for the bridge instead...these come with shorter legs

these are little snafus that an amateur like me doesnt even think of until it causes problems

so now I will have a strat with a series/split/parallel trembucker in bridge
lil 59 in mid
lil 59 in neck

master volume
tone for bridge
tone for mud and neck
micro switch to split the bridge

did i mention i had to move micro cuz it hit wood lol
so now I have an extra 1/4 hole to plug

nothing is ever straight forward in the world of guitar modificatios

While you are at Philadelphia you should also buy short pole screws and a Roughcast unoriented A5 magnet.

Amen. I still hit snafus and I've been casually modding my guitars since 2003. Most problems are solveable, though
