Classic Stack plus PUPs

Hey everyone,

New to the forum. I've ordered a set of these PUPs for my clapton strat and have a few questions:

are there covers available w/o the logo ?
Is there a noticeable tonal difference when the coil splitter is engaged to get true single coil? When split, is the tone similar to SSL 1?

Since this set seems to be so much closer to a vintage tone, i'm wondering if I should stay with the TBX pot or not or switch to a 500k pot with push/ pull for the split. The TBX is there for the adding tone back with the mid boost is dialed in. but that was with the VN PUPs

The pickups are available without the logo as a Shop Floor Custom, and can be ordered from any SD dealer. When split, the noise comes back. They are a little rounder sounding than SSL-1s which are very clean clear, and bright. I'd use 250k pots all around. Keep the TBX and see how you like it.

i had a strat setup with classic stack plus pups and the clapton boost. i dont like the tbx so i got rid of it and just used a normal 250k tone pot with .02 cap and i was very happy with how it sounded. i didnt split the cs+ on that guitar but if you do split it, there is a touch more high end. i might get wire it up to auto split in the notch positions but i wouldnt bother with making them splittable on a p/p
