Classic Stack series/parallel/split question...

Hi all. I'm using a Classic Stack in my Strat and I wired it with the on-on-on switch so I get series/split/parallel. Looking at the wiring diagrams, though, it looks like in the split position the top coil is grounded and the lower coil is active. The tone is fairly soft in this position, so is it possible to rearrange the wiring so that the split position activates the top coil (which, being closer to the strings, should be brighter sounding...?)?

BTW, the choice of series/parallel is really cool. One is full and warm, the other smooth and clear. Glad I did this mod... :bigthumb:

To use the "other" coil, just take the "ground" connection that you see on the push/pull switch and remove it. Then connect that same lug to the "black", or "hot" wire instead.

Voila . . . adjustable coil. ;)
