Classic Stack Wiring Problem

Hello everybody

I bought a Classic Stack for the neck position few days ago, a technitian wired it but the pup was very noisy, so I opened the guitar, check everything and rewired it.
Surprise! I noticed that the BARE is not soldered to the pickup, like all the "colored" wires.
Is this normal?
The technitian lost the schematic included in the box so Im lost.
Does all the Classic Stacks are wired like this?

It should be wired to the pickup-- that's your ground wire. Somehow, it was detached.

welcome to the forum!!

your engligh is fine my friend. i just looked at my classic stacks and they are the same way as yours, the bare wire isnt attached to anything but mine are dead quiet. check the wiring, something isnt right

Now the noise problem is solved and the pickup sounds terrific, it is definitely worth the money.

Im also glad that the unsoldered bare is not a defect.
