Nice tone! But I can hear that typical 'bottom end drop' that these pedals have, making it seem that they have a mid hump.

I like this tone more than the other, very crunchy and has that chunk from a marshall i like. Nice work, may have to look into that pedal.

While I like the tone, I have to be honest with ya man.
I think there's something wrong with the way you're micing the amps up. They all have this weird quality to them that just sounds a bit off. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but would you be able to post a pic of how you're setting up the mic, what mic you're using, and what the rest of the signal chain is?

Excellent Lead Tone. Very thick Rhythm Tone, but still a Little bit granny/crispy brightness on the top end stuff. but still very good.

Don't have a pic, I've moved the mic's since, but here's how it was set up:
I've got an SM57 on a V30, SM58 on G12T-75, and MD 421 on the other V30. I aimed each mic at the edge of the dust cap, then angled toward the opposite side of the dust cap. The mic's go to a Behringer UB-2442 FX Pro, then each mic's channel direct out to an Edirol FA-101, which is connected via firewire to the computer.
Drums are DFH, bass is a VST instrument (and a little liberal in the sub-lows, I might add).

Ah ok. Have you tried just using a single 57 on a V30? that tends to be a winning combination for me. I'd place the mic perpendicular to the baffled, aimed straight at the part where the dustcap meets the cone, and then adjust to taste.

Yessir, I have. I did some A/B/C-ing with the three on both rhythm tracks. I haven't experimented enough for this head/cab to be happy with the mic placement, just positioned them all the same. The combination sounds a lot better than each mic on its own. What surprised me was the kick in the 'nads from the SM58 on the G12T-75. Muting/un-muting those tracks was night and day for certain.

I actually quiet like the tone and say keep on keepin on! Sounds very open, airy, and big instead of the typical very direct and in your face nature of many modern tones. I guess thats what three different mics gets ya.
