Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Blues wanking supreme, what'd you expect from me anyway :laugh2:

I picked up a Ceriatone JTM45 clone recently. What a great amp, it fits me to a "T". Here's a quick wank I did this weekend using a JV Strat w.Tex-Mex pickups and a Washburn HB32 w/stock pickups (for now).

The Washburn is sort of like an ES-333, kind of a faded semi-hollow thing. It's pretty cool and I got a great deal on it.

Anyway, with all clams left in so you know it's really me...Da Blues

Oh, I mix 'em loud, so play it loud ;)

No pics yet, it's only a chassis right now, getting a head cab made for it!

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

yea man, that sounds really nice.....i like the depth of sound to the notes

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

twohead, try d'lding again. Maybe the servertimed out or something.

Thanks, flank! That's one of the things I love about this amp, it just makes everything sound so full :)

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Supasweet blues tone man! Bravo. Nice bouncing too :D

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Amazing! simply...amazing :beerchug:

One of the best recordings I've listened to here in quite a time I think, Congrats to the amp!

Now I demand you that you reveal how and through what (mic, mixer, program etc.) you recorded it :D

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

This is why I prefer JTMs over Fenders for blues tone...just such a sweet sound with a little bit of Marshall edge low..and then when ya crank it, it gets NASTY :D

Awesome amp..and excellent playing!

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Thanks much, guys :burnout:

Scott, definately a Ceriatone! I bet the Edana just rips too, this is just such a cool circuit!

eresseraca, I have a really simple (read cheap) recording setup. My mic is an ancient audio technica PR325, it's at least 12 years old. I run that into a Behringer UB802 mixer, into a EMU 0404 soundcard, use n-Track Studio to record. The reverb and delay are plugins that come with n-Track. I mix it down and turn it into mp3 using RazorLame. That's it, nothing special :laugh2: No eq'ing was done to the guitar tracks, that's how they went down to the disk.

Thanks for the listens guys!

I'm working on some tweaks for puckboy's edana. If they work, I'll send you the specs. You could also use a Bitch Switch.

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Hell of a clip!! VERY NICE!!

Where in the Cities are you? I am in Richfield, just out of Minne.

Re: Clip of my new JTM45 clone :)

Thanks, kevlar. :)

I'm in Columbia Heights, NE Mpls. Know where the Star Bar is? I live about 5 blocks from there.

Scott, "Bitch Switch"? :laugh2:

Very simple and still really really good sound! :)

I also add delay/reverb and such from programs instead of in the signal path when recording.
