Coil tap problems still!!!!!

Okay, i tried a push pull and got lots of noise. Now i just tried a miniswitch and everything is fine sept for when i flick the switch,nothing! it dosent sound like its tapping. I have everything wired right. what is wrong?im almost ready to give in and have a shop do it.

how did you wire the switch? what kind of switch did you use?

If you are using a SD humbucker, your wiring is completely wrong. You should be wiring the red and white together on the center poles, and grounding the bottom poles. Connect the black wire to your pickup switch, and your green wire to ground. Wiring for a push-pull and a mini-toggle is exactly the same.
