Is this safe to use on guitar Pots and Pickups? What about an effect pedal board?

I'd like to help you, but my cold heat never worked worth a crap. I never even got a chance to try it out on a guitar.

It works alright, but the tips break like crazy. Don't use mine anymore. It only got used once before breaking the tip.

If you mean volume and tone pots, then yes, I used it on mine with no problems.

I got mine from Radio Shack, but I took it back about 30 minutes later. Gosh that thing stunk up the joint.
