Re: computer on your guitar

Anybody gonna Raspberry Pi their guitar? what would it do? Autotune? control humidity. Change pickups between active and passive? Make a phone call? My brother is getting a chip to tinker with - i have no idea what its all about.

Re: computer on your guitar

For a guitar I dont have any ideas. For the pedalboard...yes! Like cable diagnosis, smart on/off, sound statistics(how much do you use a pedal).

Ill build a prototype pedalboard next week and I'd like to have multiple inputs and outputs. I have 6 guitars and two amps, and I usually play certain guitars with certain amp(or both amps). So I'd like to be able to plug in all my guitars and amps into the pedalboard, and switch between them with normal foot switches. What would be awesome is having the ability to store what guitar goes into what amp. LesPaul always goes into the AX84 HiOctane, for example, so when I press the switch for that guitar's input, it should automatically change the output to that amp.

Daily statistics, power adapter health, GFI, master EQ perhaps, built in metronome and tuner, sound recorder, and I guest that's all for now. And of course geolocation and anti theft system.

All of the features should be configurable via interwebz. And the web interface should include social crap because everybody feels the need to share on Facebook or Twitter nowadays.
