Concentric pot wiring

Hey guys,
I am looking to replace a 1 vol guitar pot with a concentric pot for volume/Tone anyone have a wiring diagram or a video how to do this for 1hum and for 2 hum guitars.

The wiring of the Tone and Volume sections on this isnt any different just because its dual concentric. Just use a standard diagram.

As far as which knob controls which pot, take note that the upper knob controls the *bottom* pot. Factor that into deciding which pot yoy choose to make the Tone pot and which you want to be the Volume pot.

This is how I did it. Dim yellow is the pickup hot. Bright yellow is output to the jack. Black is ground.

That's neat and clean. I like it. The only thing I'd do different, (and it's super minor, not an improvement per se), is just make that additional solder connection that you omitted. That is, the cap lead to both of those lugs. It doesn't improve anything while the pot is new, but creates a slightly more desirable failure mode when the pot gets old.

Yeah there's a couple ways I've seen tones done. Another way would be to just jumper the volume input to the tone center lug and put the cap on the ground side of the tone pot. I didn't do that in mine because, in an SG, the dual pot plus cap on the back of the pot is too tall to fit in the cavity. Another tone scheme I've seen (don't know if it's right, or remember how it works different) is the cap to the outside lug and the center to ground But I don't think I've tried it like that.
