I am considering changing to nickel hardware on this beauty as well as the pick up rings and switch tip. I have decided that I definitely want the black and clear PRS lampshade knobs. I posted a poll as well. Thank you.

Re: Considering different hardware, opinions please.

I like it as well as is.

Nickel, cream & zebra HB would be nice too.

I think it looks GREAT the way it is! REALLY slick and makes a statement.

The teal gives it a really light hearted vibe which then contrasts with the mean looking black hardware. To me the guitar is saying "I may have a cute color, but I'll kick your ass!"

It really does look fins. Just the way it is.

I love gold hardware, but I'd leave that guitar with the black... it looks great that way.

I would only change the knobs to black Gibson/PRS style speed knobs.
Cream rings only work in certain guitars with passive zebra (or double cream) pickups IMO. What pickups are these?

Thank you for your reply, The pick ups are Carvin Allan Holdsworth pick ups (which I have been thinking of changing to a set of Bare Knuckle Stormy Mondays). If I were to change the hardware to nickel I would either do it with the same pick up rings and use a black switch tip, or with the ivory PRS rings. For what it's worth all but the top and headstock are painted black.
